This past week we spent at Kaw Lake in Ponca City, OK for the Day Family Reunion (my meme kelly's side) It was a week full of fishing, swimming, card games, horseshoes, campfires, and talent shows(although there was only a few of us who had any talent and I wasn't one of them!), and many many other fun activities including the most important EATING!
My Family before we left if we look a little rough we stayed up every night visiting and got up super earlier to visit some more..LOL
There were 10 Brothers and 3 Sisters in all, Only Uncle Arvil didn't get to come this year. Here are the ones that are still around to come join the fun. The others are sitting above laughing at how competitive each of these brothers still are after all these years...LOL my poor meme is the lone girl left!
In the back: Uncle Ronnie, Uncle Floyd, Uncle Mike In the front: Meme, Uncle Earl, Uncle Johnny, and Uncle Tommy! Uncle Arvil lives in Arizona and couldn't make he is the oldest, then a few have went to heaven: Aunt Doris, Aunt Ima, Uncle Dennis, Uncle Kenny, Uncle Doyle.
Finlee was so wore out she played and played and was passed around to so many people I'm sure her little body hurt she was the youngest there however I believe we counted 40(plus or minus a few)ranging from 4 months to 16 (most of them were under 7 phew it was very interesting.
Peyton wasn't so sure about squirt (his turtle) so papa had to help him put it in the middle for the turtle race.
Aunt Kenna and Uncle Wendall with thier turtle all grins before the race but no luck in placing.
NO LUCK for Aunt Chey Chey and Ryan either! so sad!!!!!

On Saturday we had a watermelon eating contest. Finlee didn't enter but she had a couple bites on the side and LOVED it.

My dad however the watermelon KING place 2nd or 3rd. I don't remember now, but he recieved a ribbon and everything...LOL... along with a belly ache and sticky chest for a couple of hours...
